Saudi Arabia boosts food security, industry & trade aims as The Saudifood Show & Saudifood Manufacturing unite in Jeddah
JEDDAH, SAUDI ARABIA, August 24, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ --
• More than 1,000 exhibitors and over 25,000 industry professionals from 50 countries expected to attend
• Unlocking new opportunities across food manufacturing, retail, wholesale, foodservice and global trade
As global food systems face mounting pressure from supply chain volatility, food security concerns, localisation, and the need for greater manufacturing resilience, Saudi Arabia is accelerating efforts to build a connected and self-sufficient food ecosystem. Against this backdrop, The Saudifood Show and Saudifood Manufacturing, in strategic partnership with the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON), will unite for the first time in Jeddah from September 27 to 29, 2026, convening commercial and industrial sides of the Kingdom’s food and beverage industry on a single integrated platform. First Mills and Durrah Advanced have been confirmed as Gold Sponsors of The Saudifood Show, further strengthening the events’ role in advancing Saudi Arabia’s food economy.
Driven by Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia is emerging as one of the world’s most significant food industry growth markets, with over SAR 187.5 billion invested in food security, industrial development, logistics infrastructure, and manufacturing capability. Held at Jeddah Superdome, these events will welcome more than 1,000 exhibitors, over 25,000 visitors, and participants from 50 countries, creating new opportunities for trade, sourcing, localisation, manufacturing partnerships, and investment across the Kingdom’s growing food economy.
The platform will cover the entire food ecosystem, bringing together manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, packaging providers, technology innovators, food brands, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, foodservice operators, and investors. Exhibitors will represent sectors across food and beverage, ingredients, processing, packaging, manufacturing technology, logistics, supply chain solutions, retail, wholesale and foodservice, connecting production with the markets and industries that take food products from sourcing and manufacturing through to distribution and consumption.
Reflecting the events’ expanding global reach, 80 per cent of exhibitors will be international and 55 per cent will participate for the first time. The Saudifood Show will feature leading food producers and brands, including Almarai, Arla, Lactalis, BRF, Tanmiah, NADEC, Savola, First Mills, Americana and Seara Food Middle East (JBS), while Saudifood Manufacturing will convene major industry players such as Bunge, JBT Marel, Middleby, MULTIVAC, NAPCO, Zamil, ULMA and Provisur. Türkiye, India, Jordan, the United States, Uzbekistan, Tunisia and Italy will lead the international pavilion presence, alongside first-time pavilions representing Uzbekistan, Slovakia, Sri Lanka’s tea sector, Pakistan through TDAP, Brazilian Beef through ABIEC and Japan through JETRO. Further expanding the events’ international footprint, Uzbekistan, Slovakia, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong will join as new exhibiting markets this year.
Connecting production with trade and demand
The Saudifood Show will connect global suppliers with buyers across retail, wholesale, and food service, supporting sourcing, product discovery, and trade, while Saudifood Manufacturing will strengthen the Kingdom’s production ecosystem by connecting manufacturers with technologies, ingredients, processing solutions, packaging innovations, and supply chain partners needed to support industrial growth.
Supporting this vision, these events are held in strategic partnership with MODON, further reinforcing its significant role in advancing industrial growth, enabling localisation, and strengthening connections between food production, manufacturing, trade, and investment across the Kingdom. The events will create opportunities for new trade, sourcing, localisation and manufacturing partnerships, alongside seamless access to strategic government and industry stakeholders in line with Vision 2030.
Jeddah strengthens access to regional and global markets
The relocation to Jeddah for this edition represents a strategic step for both events. As home to the world’s biggest food cluster and some of Saudi Arabia’s most important commercial and logistics centres, Jeddah provides direct access to international shipping routes, regional markets, import infrastructure and export networks. The city handles approximately 75 per cent of Saudi Arabia’s maritime trade and serves as a gateway connecting businesses across the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe.
By bringing The Saudifood Show and Saudifood Manufacturing to Jeddah, these events will strengthen the connection between global supply, local production capability and regional demands, further supporting the next phase of growth across Saudi Arabia’s food economy.
